  • Lives and works in Ireland.
  • Artist and lecturer/researcher at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
  • Editorial advisor for the photographic journal Photographies.
  • Has previously organised public discussion forums based on Art and Contested Spaces.
  • His work is exhibited both publicly and privately, as well as internationally.
  • 3 solo exhibitions at the Gallery of Photography – Home, 1992. Edge of Europe, 1996 and Disputed Territory, 2006.
  • Long term project ‘Disputed Territory’ – 2006. Investigates conflicts over identity and territory. Covers the aftermath of conflict in Ireland, Bosnia and Kosovo.
  • Large-scale colour photographs.
  • His piece also includes work with found photographs and sound/video.
  • The massacre at Srebrenica.
  • Worked with members of the International Centre for Missing Persons in Bosnia.
  • ‘How to be a Model Citizen’ – 2008. Work with asylum seekers and refugees.
  • ‘The Prehistory of the Crisis II’ – 2009. Includes a live video artwork.
  • Work at Belfast Exposed, ‘Settlement’ – 2012. No featuring or existence of people in Ireland’s ghost areas. Images created by moonlit film exposure over a number of hours.
