Good/Bad Presentation

Following a lecture with Caroline Molloy on considering presentation, we visited The Herbert Gallery with the task of considering an item we felt was good presentation and bad. It was interesting to see the various exhibitions and the different ways in which they were presented.

I consider this as good presentation because it is unique and interesting. By hanging the puppets from the ceiling it creates a new perspective and is more visually pleasing to the eye.

This is not necessarily bad presentation, however it is fairly simple in contrast to my other selection. Because of this, it is less interactive therefore a viewer would actually have to go up on choice and read the information. However again this may be because the data which is displayed is more informative therefore this method of presentation is ideal, in contrast to the puppets which are more visually informative.
